17/11/10: GA Europe appointed to close Suits You stores 

Zolfo Cooper, the administrators of Speciality Retail Group Limited (“SRG”) trading as Suits You, announced today that all 66 SRG stores will close.

Following last month’s announcement of their appointment, Zolfo Cooper has conducted a full evaluation of SRG’s retail operations and has concluded that the business no longer has a viable long term future.  Zolfo Cooper will now be working rigorously to secure the best possible result for SRG staff, stakeholders and consumers.

GA Europe will continue to assist the administrators through this period in operating the business and in managing the closures.  At least six units will close by early December.  However, most of SRG’s stores will remain open during the Christmas trading period and will conduct store closing down sales before ceasing to trade early in the New Year.

The closing down sale will see large price reductions on suits, trousers, jackets and other menswear lines.  Leading menswear brands, including Ted Baker, Pierre Cardin, Cerruti, Melka and Ben Sherman, will be reduced by up to 75%.
