27/10/10: GA Europe to take control of Suits You

Speciality Retail Group Limited (“SRG”) trading as Suits You, has gone into administration today.

SRG was the subject of a Company Voluntary Arrangement (“CVA”) in February 2010. However, trading in 2010 has further declined, and at an accelerating rate in recent months. Consequently, SRG’s financial difficulties are now such that it can no longer continue to trade.

SRG has been acquired for an undisclosed sum by GA Europe. Subsequently, Peter Holder, Fraser Gray and Stuart Mackellar of Zolfo Cooper have been appointed as administrators. GA Europe will assist the administrators in evaluating SRG’s trading and retail operations and to operate the stores whilst the administrators consider the options available to SRG.
